It all began with a passion and a desire to create unique, aesthetically pleasing, and functional furniture pieces. In 2010, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in mechanical engineering. In 2016, after a few years in the industry I realized I wanted to combine my engineering background with my love for design to create my own products.
This was the beginning of Raum.
I wanted Raum Furniture to be the type of business that provides people with the furniture I would like to have myself. Easy to design, doesn't come with weird instructions for putting it together, and doesn't look like it needs to be "hacked" to fit your style and home. Since then, Raum Furniture has been a trusted partner for designers and general contractors, providing exceptional custom furniture solutions.
Following Raum Furniture's growth, I have expanded to cater toward design and fabrication and started Raum Industries. Raum evolved to become a major player in the field of industrial design and fabrication, producing designs and parts for big companies such as axiom space, Select, and Baseline company.
